The London launch party for Against Affect took place on 14th April 2026 in Bloomsbury. A group of academics, readers, friends and journalists met to discuss and celebrate the publication.
Discussion ranged over UK Higher Education’s ambivalent attitude towards freedom of expression, the affective status of the lie, and the lures, benefits and risks of identity claims.
